Radice: Rubino Rhodesian Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-030-4514
In the 1960s and 70s, Luigi Radice worked at two of the most acclaimed Italian marques, Castello and Caminetto. After cementing himself as one of Italy's best pipe makers, he began to craft pipes with his sons under the family name. The Rhodesian shape is distinguished from the Bulldog by its rounded shank, and this Rhodesian from Radice has an especially eye-catching shank thanks to an acrylic pressure-style mount that shimmers with silver undertones, making a fine complement to the Rubino smooth finish. Contrasting with the lithe shank and stem, the bowl features a firm heel, two broad beadlines that wrap around the waistline, and a hearty chamber, all exuding the muscular aesthetic the Rhodesian shape exemplifies.
