Radice: Rind Tomato Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-030-4516

In the 1960s and 70s, Luigi Radice worked at two of the most acclaimed Italian marques, Castello and Caminetto. After cementing himself as one of Italy's best pipe makers, he began to craft pipes with his sons under the family name. This Tomato by Radice consists of two contrasting parts: a lithe shank-and-stem arrangment that gently tapers to a bit and a muscular bowl as plump as the shape's namesake fruit, which firmly places said bowl at the center of this composition. Furthermore, the abbreviated acrylic stem emphasizes Radice's Rind rustication that dresses the stummel, creating a red-hued, craggy surface one's fingers will delight in exploring.
