Radice: Rind Apple Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-030-4517
In the 1960s and 70s, Luigi Radice worked at two of the most acclaimed Italian marques, Castello and Caminetto. After cementing himself as one of Italy's best pipe makers, he began to craft pipes with his sons under the family name. Although many Italian pipes pursue a bowl-centric aesthetic, this Apple by Radice presents a balanced composition, pairing a robust Apple bowl to a beefy shank-and-stem arrangement for a comprehensively hearty look. The jet-black acrylic stem meets the stummel at a wooden band striped with black, red, pink, and blonde hues, offering a colorful, thematic accent to the red-hued Rind rustication that dresses the stummel in a hand-carved, organic texture.
