Radice: Rind Pure Billiard Tobacco Pipe

In the 1960s and 70s, Luigi Radice worked at two of the most acclaimed Italian marques, Castello and Caminetto. After cementing himself as one of Italy's best pipe makers, he began to craft pipes with his sons under the family name. Radice's Pure series celebrates the beauty of virgin briar, with this Billiard's natural tones complemented by a rugged rustication, creating a craggy surface that will slowly patinate into darker brown hues. The firm cylindrical bowl is perched at the fore of a slender shank-and-stem arrangement that imbues this pipe with a sleek disposition. Additionally, this pipe features a marble-esque white accent band at the shank end, a rarity for the Pure series, which typically forgoes accents.
