A sturdy, sure-sitting rendition of the Brandy shape, this piece from the Radices features a tall, upright bowl that tapers from its broad, slightly protruding heel to its comparatively taut rim. Said bowl is joined to a sleek, arrow-straight shank-and-and stem arrangement that provides balance to the composition and keeps things looking sleek in profile. While most of the stummel is dressed in the craggy Rind rustication, the rim has been treated to the carved "melting-wax" motif common to Italian briars.
