Founded in 1980 by Luigi Radice, the marque that bears his name is among the most esteemed in Italian pipe making. Joined by his sons, Radice crafts boldly proportioned pipes in a dramatic interpretation of the neoclassic style that are beloved by smokers everywhere. This Billiard is a fine example of Radice's signature aesthetic, featuring a tall, thick-walled bowl that rests on a jutting heel at the fore of a low-lying oval shank, itself joined to a sleekly tapered acrylic stem. Dressed in Radice's eponymous finish, the auburn-hued stummel boasts excellent flame grain around the bowl, with dense birdseye at the rim and heel.
