Radice: Rind Bent Apple Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-030-8027
In the 1960s and 70s, Luigi Radice worked at two of the most acclaimed Italian marques, Castello and Caminetto. After cementing himself as one of Italy's best pipe makers, he began to craft pipes with his sons under the family name. This bent Apple by Radice features a stout bowl with thick, insulating walls that fill one's palm and keeps it cool. Out back, the well-bent shank-and-stem arrangement is relatively slender, which shifts compositional focus to the bowl in typical Italian neoclassic style. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in the warm, auburn stain and rugged texture of Radice's Rind finish, save for the rim, which features a blonde smooth finish for a striking contrast.
