Radice: Silk Cut Stubby Billiard Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-030-8088
In the 1960s and 70s, Luigi Radice worked at two of the most acclaimed Italian marques, Castello and Caminetto. After cementing himself as one of Italy's best pipe makers, he began to craft pipes with his sons under the family name. One of Radice's most enduring designs, the Stubby Billiard exemplifies Italian neoclassic aesthetics and the workshop's originality. The stummel forms a perfect L-shape, and the thick bowl and shank are perfectly congruent, resulting in a remarkably tubular design. Furthermore, this pipe is exceptionally compact, measuring well under four inches in length, further accentuating the composition's muscular character. Moreover, this Stubby Billiard is dressed in Radice's craggy Rind rustication and a rustic stain, save for the rim and shank face, which boast a blonde smooth finish.
