Radice: Sandblasted Morta Apple Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-030-8136

In the 1960s and 70s, Luigi Radice worked at two of the most acclaimed Italian marques, Castello and Caminetto. After cementing himself as one of Italy's best pipe makers, he began to craft pipes with his sons under the family name. Although many Italian pipes pursue a bowl-centric aesthetic, this Apple by Radice presents a balanced composition, pairing a robust Apple bowl to a beefy shank-and-stem arrangement for a comprehensively hearty look. Furthermore, the stummel is carved from morta, an alternative material to briar that possesses an alluring geometric grain pattern, which is highlighted in striking detail here by a spectacular sandblast. Out back, the jet-black acrylic stem and the bone-white accent band complete the stylish look of this distinguished dress pipe.
