Radice: Rind Stubby Billiard Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-030-8176
In the 1960s and 70s, Luigi Radice worked at two of the most acclaimed Italian marques, Castello and Caminetto. After cementing himself as one of Italy's best pipe makers, he began to craft pipes with his sons under the family name. An ideal pocket pipe, coming in under five inches in total length, this Billiard from Radice's Stubby series pairs a stout, upright bowl to a similarly stout shank that tapers gently as it reaches toward a similarly tapered stem of black acrylic. It's a pipe with a unique confluence of textures, as the bowl wears the warm, craggy Rind rustication while the rim, left smooth and stained a light, honeyed tone, adds a rich bit of contrast both texturally and visually. Replete with rich aesthetic charm, this lightweight, eye-catching pipe should make for a lively, on-the-go smoking instrument.
