Radice: Silk Cut Billiard Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-030-8187

In the 1960s and 70s, Luigi Radice worked at two of the most acclaimed Italian marques, Castello and Caminetto. After cementing himself as one of Italy's best pipe makers, he began to craft pipes with his sons under the family name. Although Radice is best known for Billiards that exude muscular appeal or their compact "Stubby" pieces, this Billiard is veritably willowy. The supple bowl is poised atop a plump heel that fits snugly in hand, but the walls' neat taper to the rim ensures it remains quite nimble. Out back, the proportional shank-and-stem arrangement presents a linear taper from transition to bit, making the silhouette here exceptionally sleek. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in the Silk Cut sandblast, which is highlighted further by a jet-black stain.
