Radice: 'Radice' Rhodesian Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-030-8199
In the 1960s and 70s, Luigi Radice worked at two of the most acclaimed Italian marques, Castello and Caminetto. After cementing himself as one of Italy's best pipe makers, he began to craft pipes with his sons under the family name. This Rhodesian by Radice boasts a stocky, full-bodied bowl adorned with the form's characteristic beadlines, which demarcate the flared heel from the tapered rim. A trim shank-and-stem arrangement brings up the rear of the composition and tapers from the transition to the bit, slenderizing the pipe's aft and anchoring most of the visual weight at the fore. A smoky smooth finish completes the ensemble and highlights gorgeous flame grain across the bowl's flanks.
