Radice: Clear Billiard (F) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-030-8205

In the 1960s and 70s, Luigi Radice worked at two of the most acclaimed Italian marques, Castello and Caminetto. After cementing himself as one of Italy's best pipe makers, he began to craft pipes with his sons under the family name. This Billiard by Radice possesses a towering, tapered bowl that is poised atop a flattened underside, making this piece a surprisingly stable Sitter. Out back, the rounded shank tapers to one of Radice's signature multi-colored hardwood accents, from which the jet-black acrylic stem takes a more pronounced diminution to the bit, creating a sleek yet dynamic profile. Moreover, the stummel is dressed in the auburn hues of Radice's Clear finish, highlighting radiant streaks of flame grain on the flanks, while birdseye abounds on the rim and underside.
