Radice: Silk Cut Tomato Tobacco Pipe

After working at Castello and Caminetto, Luigi Radice founded the Radice workshop with his son in 1980. Radice has since become one of the most recognizable marques in Italy, offering quality pipes marked by bold Italian neoclassic proportions. This Tomato from Radice is a neoclassic design with an appealing color palette. At the fore, the squat bowl contours nicely to the hand, formed by walls that curve out from a round heel to a flat rim. Out back, an upturned shank pairs to a smartly bent acrylic stem, the combination promoting a comfortable smoking posture. The stummel is dressed in the workshop's earthy Silk Cut sandblast, save for the smooth accent at the junction, which pairs nicely with the smoky-toned stem outback.
