Radice: 'Radice' Rhodesian Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-030-8329

Almost twenty years before Radice was established, its founder, Luigi Radice, began his journey with briar pipes at the now-iconic Castello workshop. In 1968, Luigi and Giuseppe Ascorti teamed up to create the Caminetto brand but Luigo eventually left and founded Radice in 1980. With the help of his father and sons, Gianluca and Marzio, Luigi created a family business known for their unique spin on neoclassical pipes, as well as their singular accenting and finishing techniques.

A true Nosewarmer, this Rhodesian from Radice is an ideal travel companion, due to its small stature and lightweight disposition. Despite its measurements, this piece still houses a respectable tobacco chamber, ensuring some length to your smoking sessions. The bowl is slightly more pert than your average Rhodesian, with the walls rising in more of a cylindrical manner as they reach twin beadlines and taper inward to the rim. An abbreviated, arrow-straight shank-and-stem brings up the rear, with the latter subtly bending to the bit. The stummel is dressed in the warm, rich stain of Radice's eponymous finish: revealing a wealth of handsome grain.
