Plump and pert, this straight Brandy from the Radices showcases a bowl with a very low-set waistline and a slow taper to the rim, its nearly two inches of height offering plenty of space to wrap the fingers around. The wide transition aids in this, and leads to a consistently tapering length of shank and stem which keep the aft side of this pipe rather sleek and place more visual weight on the bowl. Dressing the briar here is the Italian workshop's craggy Rind rustication, lending the stummel a wealth of texture to appreciate, its deep ruby hues contrasted by the smooth rim's light stain.
