With an expanding taper of shank and fitment in concert with many pipes from the Danish school of pipemaking, this Wiley Billiard modifies the aesthetic with a diamond shank, the high and low ridges softly rounded while the side ridgelines are crisp and sharp. The gray-stained shank extension harmonizes chromatically with the stummel for subtle contrast in a dark overall personality. Randy's Galleon rustication technique has long been admired, offering a craggy surface for easy handgrip, while the pipe's soft curves provide a gentle silhouette, and the winsome inclination of the mouthpiece a balanced hang from the jaw.
