Randy Wiley: Patina Horn (30)

Product Number: 002-093-2487

Less common than his rusticated finishes, Randy Wiley's Patina line features pipes stained in a gorgeous, honey-blonde contrast stain, highlighting some of the best grained example of Randy's work. Presented here is a bold Horn design — the dramatic size difference between bowl and shank testifying to Wiley's penchant for Italian neoclassic shaping, which especially influenced the first era of American pipemaking in the '70s and '80s. As such, this is a substantial pipe, with no shortage of chamber space and plenty of palm-filling presence. It also means more surface area on which to showcase flame grain across the bowl and dense birdseye along the rim, all paired to an abbreviated stem of acrylic that resembles the grain and color pattern of genuine horn.
