Randy Wiley: Partially Rusticated Bent Apple (55) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-093-2782

With a hearty, profile-dominating bowl, a generous chamber capacity, and a unique, eye-catching finish, this bent Apple is unmistakably the work of Randy Wiley. The American carver doesn't often stray from the standard tenon-mortise arrangement, but he utilizes a military mount and tapered, push-style stem in this piece, which enables the pipe to be easily broken down, even while still hot. The stummel wears a handsome, auburn-hued smooth finish that reveals some flowing strands of flame grain on either flank of the bowl, save for the fore, which bears a patch of craggy rustication for a sense of tactile diversity.
