Randy Wiley: Partially Rusticated Bent Dublin (55) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-093-2790
Offering roughly two inches of chamber depth in its thick-walled, muscular bowl, this bent Dublin from Randy Wiley caters to the American carver's penchant for crafting robust designs. Hinting at the Italian school of pipe making, with its differing proportions between bowl and shank, this piece is indeed bowl-centric, the gently arching shank and stem far more slender. Wearing a rich auburn stain, the stummel also boasts a dark patch of rustication at the heel, with sporadic streaks seen climbing the lower bowl for an eye-catching, texturally diverse pipe. Topping the dual-toned stummel is one of Randy's stunning stems, this one presented in shimmering, cobalt blue for an additional pop of color to the palette.
