Randy Wiley: Galleon Acorn (44) Tobacco Pipe

This Galleon rusticated bent Acorn is definitely a design that falls on the slighter and lighter end of Randy Wiley's sizing spectrum, which is only to say that it is much closer to what is generally considered a "medium large"-sized briar. It's a neatly proportioned piece, with a flourishing bowl and a deep, inky stain dressing its craggy stummel, the hues of which are sharply contrasted by the emerald stem. The profile displays an interesting flow, in which the bowl and shank are both seamlessly joined, and yet in which the latter quite clearly appears to be emphatically presenting the former.
