Randy Wiley: Galleon Acorn (55) Tobacco Pipe

Acorns. They're small, right? Little natural shells filled with nut, often associated with squirrels, who must place many in their cheeks for efficient transportation. However, a squirrel would be hard pressed to fit even one of these Wiley Acorns into a cheek. This piece is a handful, but its contours fit the palm beautifully and the sinuously bent shank-and-stem combination offers excellent balance for clenching. Randy's rugged Galleon rustication complements the natural-esque character of the Acorn shape while the vibrant cobalt blue hues of the acrylic shank end accent offer some colorful contrast against the stummel's deep, inky stain.
