Randy Wiley: Feather Carved Bent Dublin (66) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-093-2863

From his home in Florida, Randy Wiley has produced fine pipes since the late 1970s, earning an esteemed reputation for his unique Freehand-inspired style. This bent Dublin is a fine example of that style, featuring a playfully plump bowl with an asymmetrical scalloped rim and thick walls, resting on a firm heel at the fore of an upswept oval shank. The conjunction is accented by a broad section of hardwood stained navy blue, adding a colorful flourish made all the more effective by a bent stem of jet-black acrylic. Dressed in a smooth auburn stain, the stummel boasts swirls of fine birdseye and flame grain. A small feather has been delicately carved into the briar just behind the heel, adding an extra touch of personality to this fine piece.
