Randy Wiley: Galleon Bent Dublin (44) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-093-2984
Based in Florida, pipe maker Randy Wiley has been crafting pipes since the 1970s. He produces pipes at the astonishing rate of around 1,000 every year while uniquely shaping each one. This bent Dublin by Randy Wiley features a flowering, V-shaped profile, pairing a broad, flared bowl to a shank of a similar, albeit slightly slimmer, construction. Furthermore, the rim and shank face both showcase plateau, furthering the parallel, but the bowl is dressed in a wiry rustication, which contrasts with the chestnut smooth finish on the shank, creating vivid compositional intrigue. The well-bent acrylic stem also adds a splash of striking color to this piece, furthering the varied colors and textures of this unique pipe.
