Randy Wiley: Galleon Bent Dublin (55) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-093-2988
Based in Florida, pipe maker Randy Wiley has been crafting pipes since the 1970s. He produces pipes at the astonishing rate of around 1,000 every year while uniquely shaping each one. This bent Dublin by Randy Wiley features a robust bowl whose walls ever-so-slightly flare to the broad rim. Out back, the shank rises from a low-set transition to a thick acrylic mount, which marries to the stem via a pressure-style tenon and mortise. Furthermore, said stem features an ornate flourish: several twisting ridgelines that imbue the understated, jet-black acrylic with a dash of whimsy. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in an inky rustication, which provides an intriguing texture for one's fingers to explore.--Zach Podl
