Randy Wiley: Feather Carved Bent Dublin (77) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-093-2995
Based in Florida, pipe maker Randy Wiley has been crafting pipes since the 1970s. He produces pipes at the astonishing rate of around 1,000 every year while uniquely shaping each one. This bent Dublin by Randy Wiley is a classically inclined rendition of the shape. The bowl is robust, its flared walls rising to an asymmetrical rim that imbues this piece with an organic flourish. Out back, the shank swings upward from the low-set transition and flows to a striking mount that swims with swirling blue hues. The pressure-style stem joins to the mount at an ornate stem base, which showcases several crisp, fluting ridges that twist as they rise to the comfortable bit. Additionally, the stummel is dressed in an vibrant auburn stain, while a detailed feather-carving adorns the aft of the bowl, adding a personal touch to this alluring pipe.
