Known for their muscular, creatively playful designs, the Rinaldo brothers certainly don't disappoint with this Cherrywood. A tall, somewhat Poker-like bowl features a flattened heel that poises the bowl forward, allowing it to sit stably. That posture tilts the bowl forward for a whimsical profile, orienting the shank and gently downturned stem straight up in the air. This piece also wears a smooth, overhanging rim that's stained a handsome dark ruby hue, as does the heel. The remainder of the stummel is dressed in a dark, ruby-tinged rustication, providing a pleasant contrast in this deeply chambered, texturally delightful pipe.
