Talk about a tight sandblast. The growth rings climbing the bowl of this Dublin/Cherrywood design from the Rinaldo workshop are stacked up the bowl not in wide rings but in tightly packed but well-differentiated texture, the flanks expanding to meet the inflated rim. Brothers Elio and Guido Rinaldo have here provided a classic shape with modern Italian sensibilities in a convenient form, and made it even more interesting with an expansion ring at the stem base and a soft, curved taper to the lip button, all elevated further by a bright sterling band crafted by Guido himself in the Italian workshop.
