Rinaldo: Lithos Stack with Silver (2) (YYY) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-031-0665

It's not often that we see a Stack from the Rinaldo brothers, in fact, we've only ever seen one example before, but not a straight one, making this piece quite rare. In addition, this is also quite the svelte pipe, coming in at just under 50 grams and with a shank-and-stem combination that sits quite low on the bowl, a consistent taper making the aft of this piece all the more svelte. Of course, the bowl is striking in its size, over two inches tall and rather thin, though this serves to magnify its height, and the low profile nature of the shank and stem places a majority of the visual weight on it. Dressing the briar here is a warm iteration of the Lithos rustication, giving the hands a lovely texture and matching well with the sunny acrylic stem, the silver band at the junction adding a wonderful splash of contrast.
