Rinaldo: Triade Bent Dublin (YYY) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-031-0686
Sinuous and muscular, this bent Dublin from Rinaldo showcases the more playful side of the brothers' shaping style. The stem here is rather deeply bent, and it is paired to a sharply upturned and tapering shank that is nicely rounded on the underside, the combination lending itself to jaw hanging with its poised stature. Poised at the end of this tightly knit shank, and thus transition, is a tall bowl, rising to over two inches in height and standing atop a forward-oriented and spurred heel, reminiscent of the Skater. A consistent flare possesses the body of this bowl, terminating at an asymmetrical rim which undulates around the chamber and has received some soft inflation, balancing some of the firmer aspects of this pipe. Dressing the stummel is a warm, natural stain that displays handsome streaks of windswept flame grain swirling around the bowl, contrasting the black stem quite well.
