The Rinaldo brothers tend to contrast the flowing nature of the Horn shape with firm ridgelines, and that continues to be true for this particular rendition. Along the sides of the oval shank, two ridgelines rise up the aft of the bowl and connect to the ridgeline wrapping the circumference of the flared rim. Those lines provide a sense of structure to the composition while also accentuating the willowy curvature that cascades from the bowl. The earthy Sahara sandblast dresses the stummel and coaxes out subtle growth rings along the flanks of the bowl. The arcing acrylic stem ensures a comfortable smoking posture out back, and an accent of sterling silver at the shank end provides a dose of eye-catching flash.
