Rinaldo's playful shaping style and eye-catching finishing work are on full display with this bent Dublin. While the bowl flares at it's rim, as is standard for the form, it possesses a subtle curvature across its slightly raised fore that slopes into the plump, sweeping heel, rounding the body of the bowl a bit more than typical renditions of the shape. The bowl holds most of the visual weight within the composition, overshadowing the comparatively slender shank-and-stem arrangement that reaches high out back. The shank and stem add a touch of fluidity to the pipe in profile and promote a comfortable smoking posture from which to enjoy the bowl's respectfully deep chamber. It's all dressed in a crisp, earthy rustication that provides ample texture to delight the fingers. A silver accent adorns the shank end and provides a dose of flash to the design for further visual appeal.
