Full, rounded, and tantalizingly textured in hand, yet imbued with a comfortable balance thanks to its gracile shank and stem, this curvaceous Rinaldo bent Apple is a great example of the Italian neoclassical approach to pipe design — dramatizing the classic form with a hearty sense of proportions, while juxtaposing the bowl's substantial presence against elegant line work, particularly evident at the graceful curl of the transition. The craggy texture of the workshop's Lithos rustication is subtly contrasted by the smooth, neatly chamfered rim. The stummel's warm tan tones are then expertly complemented by the jet-black acrylic stem.
