While this bent Dublin from the Rinaldo brothers is just a touch over five inches in total length, it still boasts a considerable chamber capacity and plenty of muscularity. The tall bowl flares from its sweeping heel to its broad, undulating rim, while the shank-and-stem arrangement snakes away and strikes a fluid S-curve out back. The negative space between the bowl and the shank offers plenty of room to drape a thumb, and the rounded shaping of the bowl perfectly accommodates wrapping fingers. The earthy Sahara sandblast dresses the stummel and accentuates the natural grain orientation of the briar, save for the rim, which is left smooth and stained a lighter color for contrast.
