Rinaldo: Triade Billiard with Silver (1) (YYYY) Tobacco Pipe

Though fairly compact, this Billiard from the Rinaldo brothers packs a lot of substance into the muscular form. A fine Sitter thanks to its flattened underside, the Pot-like, rounded bowl features thick walls and a generous chamber. It's paired to a comparatively more slender shank and abbreviated, amber-hued saddle stem, which is also semi-transparent. This piece is wearing a honey-blonde stain, showcasing lovely, dense wisps of flame grain on all flanks, with handsome birdseye flecking the rim and heel. Further commending this piece is a gleaming band of silver worked by Guido, for additional flair.
