Rinaldo: Lithos Bent Dublin Sitter (YY) Tobacco Pipe

Product Number: 002-031-0765

A sweeping, sinuous rendition of the bent Dublin, this pipe from Italy's Rinaldo workshop does well to showcase the neoclassical sensibilities of the brothers that run it. A deeply bent stem of warm amber acrylic fits to a rather trim shank at the aft side, meeting a shank face that's domed and recessed to allow the stem to nestle into it. A firm expansion ring adds further intrigue to the stem, while a robust bowl dominates the fore, rising out of a sharp heel and flaring out to a broad, smooth rim that's dipped at its fore and aft. This bowl offers plenty of contours for the hand to appreciate as it is held, though if needed, the pipe can also be sat on a flattened portion of briar beneath the transitional area. Dressed in the dark, ruby-toned rustication of the Lithos series, this pipe is rugged, pastoral, and wonderfully charming.
