This plump, charming bent Apple from Rinaldo presents with a bowl that's rich with supple curvature, providing plenty of comfort in the hand and holding a chamber surrounded by thick, insulating walls. The craggy Lithos rusticated finish provides a stimulating presence in hand, and looks great under its dark, inky stain. The rim is stained the same color, but left smooth for a bit of visual contrast, revealing some striking ruby hues that contrast both the darker aspects of this piece and the silver band at the junction. The profile is completed by a tapered stem of jet-black acrylic which continues the diminution of the shank as it lifts out of the transition.
