This unorthodox, stylized take on the Cavalier from the Rinaldo brothers displays what must be one of the most distinctive profiles in all of pipedom, though it is quite a functionally sound design too, combining the convenience of both the Sitter and the Cavalier, with a deep, clench-friendly bend as well. Eccentric? Yes. But then so too was Pasqualon — the great Pesarese poet for which it was named, and whose silhouette, in his famous orator's pose, the shank cap bears.
