Rinaldo: Lithos Bent Billiard (YY) (Titania) Tobacco Pipe
Product Number: 002-031-0843
Ever since they were teenagers, brothers Elio and Guido Rinaldo have been honing their skills as pipe makers, with the two getting their start working for Mastro de Paja in 1974: the brand's bold, Pesaro-style influence still visible in their work today. In 1987, the two brothers would establish the Rinaldo brand, with each pipe being handcrafted by Elio and Guido themselves. Stamped with Rinaldo's Titania grade, this bent Billiard features a robust physique that's sure to fill the hand snugly. The bowl stands tall and firm, its supple walls rising from the plump, rounded heel and gently tapering toward the smooth rim, its figure drawing from some of the Brandy's shaping cues. Transitioning from the bowl is a thick, upturned shank that pairs to a stylized stem fashioned from coffee-hued acrylic. The stummel wears a crisp, inky rustication courtesy of Rinaldo's Lithos finish, with the rim and nomenclature panel dressed in a smooth, ruby-hued stain.
