Rinaldo: Triade Rhodesian (YYY) (Titania) Tobacco Pipe

Ever since they were teenagers, brothers Elio and Guido Rinaldo have been honing their skills as pipe makers, with the two getting their start working for Mastro de Paja in 1974: the brand's bold, Pesaro-style influence still visible in their work today. In 1987, the two brothers would establish the Rinaldo brand, with each pipe being handcrafted by Elio and Guido themselves. Owing to its strapping physique, this hearty Rhodesian is stamped with Rinaldo's Titania grade, complete with a forward ebbing figure for a dynamic rendition of the classic shape, all of which is poised atop a flattened heel. The bowl stands at a subtle forward cant, with smooth walls flaring from the heel toward a pair of crisp beadlines, where they then taper toward the chamfered rim. A sweeping, muscular shank transitions from the bowl, curving upward to meet a gently bent saddle stem of coffee-hued acrylic.
