As part of Rossi's Free series, this bent Billiard deviates from the Italian marque's standard shape chart. This rendition of the classic shape pairs the thick, stolid bowl to a low-slung, oval shank and abbreviated jet black stem. The sleek, low-lying lines of the shank-and-stem combination anchor most of the visual weight at the bowl, bolstering its muscular stature. It's dressed in a dark green rusticated finish that provides plenty of tactile intrigue and makes for a rather shadowy profile. Firm and rather stolid in its design, this piece exudes plenty of Italian neoclassical charm, from its shaping to its finish.
