Ryan Alden: Sandblasted Apple (Ten of Diamonds) Tobacco Pipe

In this most recent batch from Ryan Alden, the American carver offers several briars of compact proportions, this fetching Apple being the most diminutive of them all. The bowl is jauntily forward of cant, calling to mind the Devil Anse shape, and the chamber is on par with a Dunhill Group 2. Though short in length, it still boasts a powerful aesthetic, dressed in a subtle sandblast and dark stain, paired to a handsome, brindled stem of swirling moss green and inky black. It's a versatile and beautiful briar that's easily slipped into a pocket and sure to attract attention when clenched.
