How appropriate for Ryan to have chosen a green-apple colored, variegated vulcanite stem for this broad Apple shape. With streaks of blue, it matches the shape but contrasts the color of the stummel. An abbreviated length adds to the presence of the rounded bowl, which has excellent cheeking at the transition. Ryan tends to lean into traditional shapes quite heavily, but always with his own unique interpretations, and this Apple is an example. the bowl is broad, the contours precise, the mouthpiece work is excellent, and overall it's comfortable and light.
