The broad bowl features a singular ridgeline to mark the crisp waistline near the midsection, which together with the Danish-style lifting heel and low-profile oval shank really works to give it a strong sense of implied forward momentum in profile. Fitting to its expert shaping, this piece also features a gorgeous cross-cut grain pattern brought out by a rich, ruby contrast stain.
