Smio Satou: Smooth Bent Dublin with Bamboo Tobacco Pipe

This is an impressive piece from Smio Satou. The strong taper down from the domed-style rim, neat transition and abbreviated shank, and signature tsuishu accent all, of course, make for a memorable piece, but what strikes me most about this composition is how easily he's incorporated such a long stretch of bamboo into the design, seamlessly. Using eleven knuckles of bamboo, he's created a truly organic Churchwarden configuration — sure to provide a cooler smoke — not to mention an eye-catching silhouette.
