The dramatic shaping of this pipe can make it seem quite large, especially in our pictures, but it's really more modestly sized than one would expect. Still a handful of briar, Savinelli has carefully balanced the broad flanks of this Fan with a lively, slightly asymmetric rim and slimmed-down cross-section. Its considerable flanks show off a great deal of flame and straight grain, and a light contrast stain enhances its organic aesthetic and natural plateau crown. Really excellent work all around.
