More structured than most Savinelli Autographs I've been privileged to handle, this bent Dublin is beautifully grained, its contrast-stained tendrils rising up the bowl in mesmerizing flame grain to the broad rim, which is itself loaded with birdseye. The paneled shank's firm ridgelines extend into the bowl's heel, giving the form a particularly robust and structured personality. For additional consistency, the shank's ridgelines continue into the hand-cut stem before gradually tapering toward the comfortably shaped lip button. The pipe's smooth surface offers easy purchase in hand and endless visual interest for those who appreciate the quality craftsmanship associated with Autographs.
