Savinelli Autograph: Autograph Sandblasted Bent Apple

Sinuously bent and creatively executed, this stylized bent Apple from Savinelli Autograph should perform exceptionally well as a jaw hanger, though the bowl is a delight to wrap your fingers around as it promises to deliver plenty of comforting substance in hand. The transition is brief and understated, quickly leading into the short shank and gracefully arching stem. The underside of the shank has been lent some added muscularity and seamlessly blends with the bowl's broad base. The stummel's dressed in a dark-stained, low-profile sandblast, with fascinating patterns of undulating grain rippling across its surface. It's certainly one of the more understated pieces from the Italian workshop, but has several intriguing elements that allow it to stand out from any other pipe.
