Savinelli Autograph: Autograph Sandblasted Bent Billiard (6mm) Tobacco Pipe

Each piece is individual and outside shape-chart standards, like this lithely bent Billiard. The transition seamlessly joins the bowl with the shank, which in cross section revels a Reuleaux triangle. A Reuleaux triangle, if you've forgotten your middle school geometry (I had to look it up myself), is formed by intersecting three circular disc shapes centered on the boundaries of the other two. The curvature is subtle, with the top edge of the shank rounded while the two other lines are sharp-ridged and merge effortlessly with the bowl's base. A tapered stem in jet black contrasts gently with the earthy brown sandblast, which showcases an array of tight, undulating grain. Rare and special pipes like this are the purpose of the Autograph line.
