Hand-carved by Savinelli's artisans, pipes in the heralded Autograph line are frequently larger renditions with whimsical shaping, with this bent Dublin being a fine representative. The tall, robust bowl displays a strong forward cant, with its softly inflated rim softening the profile, while a flaring shank face is crowned in craggy plateau. In a playful nod, the acrylic, ebony-hued stem is ultra-slim, countering the muscularity of the briar. The stummel is dressed in a warm, honey-blonde stain that highlights a wealth of beautiful birdseye along the rim and shank underside, while tight tendrils of fiery flame grain engulf the bowl.
